David Koch
Dave Koch’s steadfast commitment has been integral to the Men’s Program since its inception. His journey, deeply rooted in a belief in the program’s mission, has led him to his current role as Director of Operations.
An elected member of the Horry County School Board, Dave brings a wealth of experience from notable positions such as Director of Young Adult Services at Sea Haven and Substance Abuse Specialist at Shoreline Behavioral Health. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a concentration in Family/Youth Services and Administration from Purdue University. Further demonstrating his dedication, Dave is a certified S.C. Peer Support Specialist, completed his internship at Teen Challenge, and served honorably in the U.S. Navy as a Torpedoman Specialist.
Originally from Saginaw, Michigan, Dave relocated to the area in 1985 after marrying his wife, Jeanne. They have raised three sons and are proud grandparents. Beyond his professional life, Dave is actively involved in Waterbrook Community Church and local Celebrate Recovery programs, reflecting his commitment to service and community well-being.
