About us

Our Mission: Providing the spiritual and educational tools necessary for a long-term recovery from the illness of addiction and the beginning of a successful life.
Christian Recovery Centers, Inc (CRCI) is a non-profit organization that provides free drug and alcohol treatment, recovery, and re-entry services for men and women struggling with substance use disorder. CRCI offers a faith-based, evidence-based program supported by clinical interventions. CRCI’s programmatic elements work to support individuals through their recovery process to reach not only long-term sobriety but also overall well-being. CRCI works with program residents to first create a sense of spiritual, mental, and emotional well-being that allows them to create a more motivated and healthy decision-making process. The ultimate goal is a person who has achieved independence and self-governance from a positive sense of agency.

Motivational Track — Foundation Phase

Typically 4–6 weeks | Clinical Foundation
While all phases of CRCI programs can vary in length based on performance, the Motivational Track (Moto Track) phase of the program will typically be completed in 4–6 weeks. This phase serves as a foundation, easing residents from an unstructured lifestyle to a regimented, therapeutic environment. Here, they begin to acclimate to the program's demands at a manageable pace, learning to adhere to policies, respond positively to challenging situations, and integrate new knowledge effectively.

Clinical Support

Medications supporting the detox process are offered, if needed, to reduce the body's negative response to the sudden absence of chemicals. Includes Comprehensive Clinical Assessment (CCA), SACOT counseling, and medication assisted treatment as needed.

Intensive Clinical Attention

Residents receive more clinical attention in this phase than any other, addressing their needs to help stabilize mentally, emotionally, and physically — preparing for the lifestyle changes that healthy long‑term recovery demands.

Focused Environment

Contact with family is limited during this time to allow each resident to engage in personalized focus and gain an initial understanding of the life change they seek before introducing external influences.

Introduction to recovery: This portion of the program is presented as an introduction to our more robust recovery phases. Once residents have met the basic requirements, tapered off partial agonist MAT services, demonstrated a willingness to proceed, and when placement is available, they will be eligible to move on to Phase I of the residential program.

Recovery Program — Phases 1–3

Structured progression · Spiritual growth · Leadership
Phases 1–3 guide residents through a structured progression from early stabilization to personal responsibility and ultimately leadership within the recovery community. Together, these phases create a comprehensive pathway that supports spiritual growth, ethical decision‑making, emotional maturity, and preparation for long‑term independence.
1

Early Stabilization & Foundation

Residents begin this journey in a 6–8 week transition period that moves them from addiction treatment services into CRCI's recovery program. This initial stage provides a structured environment focused on spiritual development and healthy daily living. While CRCI does not provide medical care, residents may be referred to external providers based on need, and minor conditions may be supported through self‑care. During this time, residents learn to take an active role in their recovery, practicing personal responsibility, ethical decision‑making, and consistent participation in daily routines. Schedules, chores, kitchen duties, and project assignments help establish stability and reinforce the importance of meeting short‑term goals while gradually introducing more complex recovery concepts such as community involvement and higher moral ideals.
2

Personal Responsibility & Growth

As residents grow, they are reviewed by staff and senior residents to assess spiritual and emotional progress, responsibility, willingness, rule compliance, and engagement in recovery. This evaluation determines readiness to advance into the next stage, where increased responsibility and trust‑building become central. Residents who feel unprepared may delay their transition for up to 14 days, ensuring they move forward with confidence and clarity.
3

Leadership & Exit Preparation

In the final stage of the recovery program, residents begin developing leadership skills and shaping their exit strategies. This phase emphasizes the importance of applying what they have learned to prepare for greater independence, including potential entry into the Phase 4 Reentry Program. CRCI teaches the principles of servant leadership, encouraging residents to prioritize the needs of others, share responsibility, and support their peers. Through mentorship, moral inventory work, restitution, service, and guided accountability, residents learn to leverage their experiences to help others grow. High‑performing residents may be invited into "Senior" roles, where they mentor individuals in earlier phases — reinforcing the belief that true learning deepens when the student becomes the teacher.

Phase 4 — Re-Entry Program

6 months + renewable | Employment & independence
Phase 4 of the Christian Recovery program is designated as the Re-Entry program and is designed to provide a smooth transition for graduates of Phase 3 to continue their recovery process in a structured, safe, and stable environment that, above all, promotes spiritual wellness and sobriety. This portion of the residential program begins to incorporate more personal freedoms and responsibilities as individuals successfully progress through the stages of Phase 4.

Eligibility & Application

The Christian Recovery Phase 4 Program is for select residents who wish to take an ongoing active role in their recovery and who feel the need for continued structure with opportunities for employment as they near total independence. A Phase 4 application is available to residents who are on their way to successfully completing all other phases. Those who have shown ongoing improvement, a genuine desire to be successful, and a dedication to their spiritual walk and overall recovery will be given priority for entry.

Duration & Environment

Residents accepted into Phase 4 will be invited into the program for 6 months and may reapply for an additional 6 months. Phase 4 is designed to provide a smooth transition from the rigorous demands of the Christian Recovery Center programs and teach residents that a life of sobriety can work hand in hand with a life of productivity — achieved through peer role modeling, counseling, and the safeguards of a healthy recovery environment.

Two Pathways

  • Trade Pathway (Social Enterprise Technician): Creates immediate employment opportunities within one of our various enterprises.
  • Leadership Development Initiative (LDI): An intensive training process for developing the future leaders of the Christian Recovery program. LDI participants receive educational benefits and work towards multiple college-level certifications, state licenses, and may also attend traditional college or seminary classes for the achievement of a formal degree.
Core mission: Phase 4 offers multiple opportunities, allowing residents to choose their pathway toward productive, independent, sober living.
